These are the subjects Merici College offers students in Years 7-10. In addition to each subject area, the IB MYP requires that all students in every year of the MYP engage with interdisciplinary learning. Click here: to find out more about interdisciplinary learning.
Each unit in the MYP is guided by a statement of inquiry. This statement directs the learning in the unit and provides purpose to learning. Each statement is based around a key concept, a big idea that is transferable between subjects such as ‘change’.
*non IB electives = Mentoring, Hospitality, Business Administration, Sport and Rec.
Electives are run subject to teacher availability and student demand.
