Extended Essay

Power that opens doors

The Extended Essay (EE) is a requirement for all Diploma students. The EE is a 4000-word research task that is completed independently by students with the support and guidance of a personal supervisor. Students select a subject of interest that they are currently studying, or a World Studies topic that uses two subjects to examine an issue of global significance and dedicate about 40 hours to this piece of academic writing. It is great preparation for university and something students find helpful in preparing them for further study.
